The Kilcher circle of relatives is again at it! On Sunday, Oct. 9, Season 11 of Alaska: The Last Frontier premiered and enthusiasts briefly realized that certainly one of the major stars, Otto Kilcher, were injured all over a treacherous storm from snow. His unlucky injury left uncertainty about how the rest of the season would continue and how his circle of relatives would organize the homestead with out him.

How was Otto Kilcher injured on 'Alaska: The Last Frontier'?

Otto Kilcher was significantly mauled via an ox (aka a steer) in a serious snowstorm all through the first episode of Season 11. While the extent of his accidents are unknown, he seems to be doing well. Otto has been actively selling the season on social media, and from his posts, we see he has resumed his regular paintings on the homestead. In reality, one in all his most recent posts presentations him riding a horse.

Following the Season Eleven premiere, Otto posted an Instagram video showing the lead-up up to the harrowing stumble upon. “Say hi to my pals if I don’t come again," he is heard saying to the camera, seemingly aware that he is approaching a dangerous situation. From the video, we can see that he was traveling through a pretty heavy snowfall prior to the incident.

We also see he was approaching a group of oxen in the distance. Although it's never confirmed, we can assume that one of those oxen is responsible for his attack. Furthermore, it's unknown exactly how the incident occurred, but it did require emergency responders.

Alongside his video, Otto wrote, "Well, think the cat’s outta the bag via now. It was once a really perfect day at the head of the bay, it simply ended poorly. High tides, snow storms - no downside. Bovine trampedle, emergency responders - now not so cool."

In the comments, fans reacted to his accident. "I shed a couple of tears for you Otto and very happy you are OK! Many Blessings," read one comment. Another fan capitalized on how lucky Otto was to have made it out alive. "So glad that you're still here to deliver joy to others. Enjoy every and on a daily basis," the remark read.
