Steve and Miranda confronted demanding situations due to their monetary variations. They broke up but reconnected when Miranda was once pregnant with their son, Brady (Niall Cunningham). They eventually were given married, but Steve had an affair, inflicting a 12 months of separation. They reconciled, but their marriage confronted extra demanding situations in the future.

In Season 2, Miranda moved to LA to be with Che while still legally married to Steve. While Miranda is worked up in her new relationship, her decision to leave her family to explore her newfound LGBTQIA id, the guilt of leaving Steve and Brady impacts her right through the season.

The guilt worsened in AJLT Season 2, Ep. 6, “Bomb Cyclone,” when Carrie told Miranda Steve doesn’t plan on taking his wedding ceremony ring off till “Death do them part,” which he printed to Carrie in Season 1.

Miranda and Steve after all were given the closure their relationship wanted on ‘AJLT.’

After discovering Steve refuses to take off his wedding ring, Miranda makes a decision it is time for them to discuss getting divorced in spite of everything. In a scene from S2, Ep. 6, Miranda asks Steve to move out in their Brooklyn house so she will be able to forestall dwelling between their place, Che’s space, and Nya’s (Karen Pittman) condominium. Steve didn’t budge and claimed he deserved to stay as a result of “it’s my house!”

Miranda and Steve argued over their Brooklyn house. Miranda sought after Steve to transport out but refused, claiming it was his area. Miranda reminded him that she bought it and the mortgage used to be in her identify. Steve retaliated, citing past problems. Some of his harsh feedback integrated him reminding Miranda that she never sought after to transport to Brooklyn (there’s an entire SATC episode about it), nor did she wish to be their son’s mom (there’s an episode on that reality, too!)

The screaming fit between the exes ended with Miranda crying as she attempted to leave the house in the middle of a snowstorm. Steve, then again, instantly felt guilty and begged Miranda to not go outdoor, noting she couldn’t “cry” on the Subway. Miranda agreed, and the estranged pair cuddled in their bedroom.

As they’re snuggling, fans have an inkling of hope that Miranda has in any case come to her senses and will take Steve again. Unfortunately, their sweet reunion ended abruptly when Miranda discovered a condom wrapper on her side of their bed. Since Miranda and Steve weren’t drowsing in combination, she knew her husband used to be with any individual else — their Whole Foods sales lady!

Once Steve admitted to shifting on with the Whole Foods employee, Miranda stopped taking a look at her ex like a “victim” and determined to continue with the divorce. Steve confirmed he wasn’t a sufferer and seemed completely OK with Miranda finishing their marriage for good.

Sadly, Miranda and Steve shifting ahead with their divorce way they gained’t have the glad ending fanatics have been wishing for. Miranda also confirmed she doesn’t know if the exes will ever be buddies again, which is sort of just as tragic as their cut up.
