A Home Depot worker's rage quitting response to a customer gripe is receiving applause from other folks on social media.

It used to be 1909 when retail magnate Harry Gordon Selfridge coined the term "the customer is always right," a credo that was once rooted in an assurance London consumers in his department retailer. Other companies would go on to adopt this terminology as the foundation of their very own attitudes towards customer service.
