On the show, Alice plays protagonist and drug lord Teresa Mendoza, whom USA network describes as "a poor younger girl from the 'barrio' of Jalisco, Mexico who discovered a option to rise above her hopeless conditions — first by falling in love with a successful member of a drug cartel, then in the end by way of creating her personal robust drug empire and turning into one of the wealthiest girls in the international."

So I tried to at least get the human being she is, like the core of the persona, although the journey is different from the e-book — seeking to honor Teresa Mendoza from the guide."
