Sharkboy and Lavagirl Are Back, but Where Is Taylor Lautner?

Sharkboy and Lavagirl are coming back in 'We Can be Heroes' but with a brand new Sharkboy. So, where's Taylor Lautner and why is he now not returning to his position?

Some TV displays and motion pictures appear to outline our adolescence — whether or not it's our own or our kids. A stunning hit used to be The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl, a fable motion film for kids that adopted not likely heroes: a half-boy-half-shark being called Sharkboy and half-girl-half-lava being named Lavagirl.

There were rumors for a long time that we had been going to get a sequel to the marvel hit from 2005. While we are not yet getting an official sequel, we can see the characters again in a new film, We Can Be Heroes.

Produced by means of Netflix, the new film will reunite audience with Lavagirl and Sharkboy years sooner or later from once we remaining saw them.

The new adventure that these two not going superheroes in finding themselves in is a scenario that many of us can relate to.

Yep, the 2 are now adults, and they're also folks. The unique movie's dedicated fan base is concerning the age where they, too, would begin to change into parents, so it kind of feels fitting to bring them back with this storyline. However, there is one catch in We Can Be Heroes — a new Sharkboy actor is changing Taylor Lautner.

Writer and director Robert Rodriguez, who directed the primary Sharkboy and Lavagirl and was once tapped to do We Can Be Heroes, stated this new film is not focused on these two characters but instead they just make an appearance.  

"Sharkboy and Lavagirl show up as superhero parents who now have a daughter who has shark and lava powers," he stated in July. He later clarified that "the only speaking role is for Lavagirl," so it is not identified how giant this look can be in the new film, he defined as, "like an Avengers team, but they all have kids."

Taylor Dooley, who performed the unique Lavagirl, did mud off her lava go well with and reprise her position for this new movie. However, Taylor Lautner, who was the original Sharkboy, won't seem.

There had been no discussions on why he didn't take at the position, whether he wasn't offered, did not want to return, or if the timing of it all just didn't paintings for him.
