In a plot twist that left fans in surprise, Taza killed Riz on the newest episode of 'Mayans MC.' But why did he do it? Season 2 spoilers forward.
The Sons of Anarchy by-product Mayans MC is nearing the end of Season 2, and in the biggest twist of the season, we watched Riz die. This lack of probably the most major characters stunned everyone — and what used to be even more surprising used to be that his personal buddy Taza did it.
If you haven't already noticed the episode, we'll catch you up to speed. Previously, after an assault through the Vatos Malditos, Riz and Coco had been significantly injured.
Coco had damage executed to his face that might probably leave him with vision problems for episodes to return, while Riz was once in worse form. After being shot multiple times, Riz used to be positioned in a coma within the clinic, but seemed as though he may get better.
Before shall we find out if Riz would make it, although, Taza decided to do the unthinkable and block the breathing tube that Riz used to be dependent on to continue to exist. Taza's ultimate words to his comrade were, "I'm sorry brother."
This completely changes the course of the season finale, and we'll likely see it all pan out in the third season, which used to be simply confirmed. But this dramatic turn of events leaves enthusiasts questioning: why did Taza kill Riz?
Warning: Season 2 spoilers ahead.
Why did Taza kill Riz on Mayans MC? It used to be more likely to get started a war in opposition to the Vatos Malditos.
At the time of Riz's hospitalization, the MC was discussing whether or to not salary a struggle against the Vatos Malditos in retaliation. The attack had injured their participants and there have been a couple of on the crew who have been able to avenge their brothers.
One of those that was hungry for vengeance used to be Taza. He was once able to assault again, however he was once one of few on the workforce who sought after the battle to proceed.
At the time, the vote throughout the MC used to be towards retaliating, leaving Taza and the others who sought after to strike back very disenchanted. The reasoning was once that whilst their contributors were injured, none of them have been lifeless.
That is, till Taza modified that.
Taza most probably killed Riz to insight the struggle, because if one in all their very own died on account of the assault, they'd have extra reason to strike.

— Antonio Jaramillo (@antoniojmllo) October 30, 2019And it seems as though Taza got what he sought after, because after Riz's demise, the staff determined that it was once time to wage conflict. It's no longer like the boys to kill one of their very own, so we'll have to look what penalties Taza faces when — or if — his team finds out.
Actor Antonio Jaramillo said good-bye to the show.
In a tweet posted to the Mayans MC account, Antonio stated goodbye to the display and his fanatics. Antonio replied to the tweet, saying "Thanks to all da lovers of #SOA and #MayansMC4 da #love growth!!"
We're happy that it kind of feels Antonio is leaving on excellent terms. And who knows — perhaps we're going to see him once more in Season Three all the way through a flashback.
Whatever the case, there's a hurricane brewing for the gang in Season 3, and we are fearful to see what the season finale holds.
