Not Everyone Loves the New "Go With the Flow" Emote in 'Fortnite'

This new 'Fortnite' emote used to be impressed via a viral TikTok dance, but it isn't what every gamers was once hoping for.

One of the things that makes Fortnite proceed to feel recent is the consistent rotation and addition of latest emotes and skins in the item store. The latest "Go With the Flow" Icon Series emote features a fast little dance, and the choreography actually originates from a viral dance on TikTok.

Many of the common emotes in Fortnite are inspired by way of (or taken immediately from) more than a few viral dances on TikTok, and the "Go With the Flow" emote is not any other. The dance was once choreographed through Madison Patten, a former instructor who now posts unique dances on TikTok ceaselessly, set to a tune through artist Jenna Raine.

Jenna's track, "It Is What It Is," has greater than 40,000 posts the usage of it on the standard app, and many of those videos have tens of thousands of perspectives.

Jenna used to be previously a part of the girl crew L2M (quick for Listening 2 Music), formed as a spin-off from LEGO Friends: Girlz 4 Life. After the staff disbanded in 2018, she started her solo profession and has since been posting her pop track on TikTok. Currently, she has 1.7 million followers on the app and has more than 2.5 monthly listeners on Spotify.

Madison, who currently boasts greater than 500,000 followers on the app, shared some information about the emote after it went live.

"This has been in the works for a while, all I had to do was sign off on it — I didn't do anything," Madison stated in a TikTok. "I don't play Fortnite, but I might now just so that I can buy my own choreography. This is the coolest thing that's ever come out of TikTok for me. It pretty much makes all of the time I've spent on this app worth it... For something like this to happen is really cool."

Some 'Fortnite' gamers had been hoping the "Go With the Flow" emote could be the dance from 'Wednesday.'

Though the new emote has already received a large number of traction and been celebrated by means of Jenna and Madison's followers, there are some who are not entirely overjoyed at the release of this new emote. For starters, when the emote was previously teased, gamers idea they had been getting the dance that Jenna Ortega famously nailed as Wednesday Addams in Wednesday.

In many of the movies on-line about the new emote, avid gamers are calling it a "flop."

"Def not what we were all expecting," one consumer said in the caption in their video, showing what players have been expecting vs. the reality of the emote.

"Fortnite did NOT cook with this one," any other wrote.

"Is it [just] me that thinks Fortnite hasn't been cooking with the new emotes?" one griped.

That said, regardless that there may be clearly some ire that the emote is not the dance from Wednesday, there are masses who're enjoying it. And if making a decision it's in the long run now not your cup of tea, you wouldn't have to buy it from the item store!
