On March 23, 2021, Deadline reported that Home & Family had officially been canceled and that Season Nine will be the final season. Furthermore, the show moved from a day by day layout to a one-hour, three-day-a-week layout. The ultimate episode airs on Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2021

Following the announcement, hosts Debbie and Cameron both took to social media to share their sadness about the show's cancelation. "I'm finding it rather tough to actually to find the suitable phrases to express how particular this magical place referred to as Home & Family is to me and to so many others. This is not only another show. This is in reality a circle of relatives," she wrote on Instagram. "Over the decade such a lot of of our youngsters were born, now we have had weddings, we've misplaced loved ones, we have now laughed, we have now cried, we have argued, we've got hugged and made up. We have accomplished all of it. EVERYTHING that actual families do."

Cameron's message was a special one for Debbie. "Twenty-five years of friendship and working together is not going to finish here my Beautiful Deb," he wrote. "There are few other people in this international I feel nearer to than you, and I know our paths will continue to go. Home and Family used to be our 3rd webhosting activity together, and I will’t wait to see what can be No. 4. Love you more than I will say and I’m beyond thankful to have had this revel in with you, my TV wife."

Debbie, who has been a co-host on the series since 2016, celebrated the announcement of the show's eighth season back in 2019 with an Instagram post. "I have never felt so lucky and proud to work for a community who values all of the proper and essential things in life," she wrote. "It feels amazing to spread love and goodness for a living." Cameron Mathison joined the show at first of Season 7 and has remained a staple of this system ever since.
