
What Is 'SNL' Alum Victoria Jackson Up to Now? Comedian Is Under Fire for Anti-Gay Remarks

Former Saturday Night Live cast member Victoria Jackson is making headlines after sharing her stance on homosexuality all over a town council assembly in Franklin, Tenn.
Victoria, who seemed on the reside sketch comedy series from 1986 to 1992, became standard for her bits on Weekend Update with Dennis Miller, the place she ceaselessly showed off her impressive gymnastic skills at the news desk. But it seems like Victoria's reputation has significantly waned over time.
Her recent remarks, in particular, don't seem to be sitting well with audiences. As one particular person tweeted, "If you were wondering what happened to Victoria Jackson from 'SNL' 30 some years ago (you weren’t), she’s a hateful bats--t crazy person who spews judgmental nonsense at town halls.”

'SNL' alum Victoria Jackson bashed homosexuality during a city council meeting.
"God hates sodomy. He hates homosexuality. He said it’s an abomination. And God hates sexual immortality. All types. And God hates satisfaction," said Victoria during a city council meeting in Franklin, Tenn., on April 11, 2023. At the time, the council was holding a discussion regarding holding a gay pride parade.
“Like, one of the most things he hates is pride,” she said before beginning to cite Bible verses.

As she was being brushed aside from the podium, Victoria inspired “this generation no longer to be brainwashed,” and told them to watch YouTuber Becket Cook’s videos.

Victoria has been a proud conservative Christian her whole lifestyles. In an August 2022 interview with the Star Tribune, she admitted that the robust views she holds could have value her some work previously.
While she best spoke highly of SNL's govt manufacturer Lorne Michaels, who once allowed her to back out of a scene that poked fun at prayer, there did appear to be some conflict all the way through her six-year stint on the weekly variety display. She defined that former author Al Franken, who later turned into a Minnesota senator, once pulled her apart to speak about her conduct and tendency to play dumb.
In reaction to his complaint, Victoria remembers firing again: "Maybe what I'm really thinking about is that everyone is going to hell and I'm supposed to tell them about Jesus."
Ultimately, Victoria says she quit SNL to celebrity in a sitcom through which she would play a Vegas showgirl opposite George Clooney, who falls for a taxi driver. Unfortunately, the networks passed at the series.
Ironically enough, Victoria's former agent Dolores Robinson informed the Riverfront Times in 2012 that that wasn't true and as an alternative "they dropped her."
So, what's the reality? It's hard to say. But Victoria's process possibilities did appear to dry up following her SNL exit.
