After more than 20 years as one of the crucial faces of NBC, charming information anchor Natalie Morales determined to move on from the community.

The 2021 trade shocked devoted fanatics who had to adjust to the inside track that Natalie would be leaving in just a few days.

The excellent information is that Natalie found a brand new house at The Talk on CBS and soon found an expanded role at the NBC rival. But what made the Today Show alum bolt from her longtime gig?

For years, Natalie used to be a well-known face on the Today show, and also seemed frequently on Access on NBC. But in 2021, the star said goodbye to NBC and jumped ship over to CBS, per People.

It turns out that Natalie have been, neatly, thinking about making the bounce to The Talk for years ahead of the move actually happened.

"I knew The Talk could really showcase my personality, but also that I knew I would have great chemistry with the other co-hosts, which I had at the Today show, of course, but living here in Los Angeles — this is the big game in town," she defined on the time.

Of course she could be referring to Sheryl Underwood, Amanda Kloots, Jerry O'Connell, and Akbar Gbaja-Biamila, who co-host The Talk, which used to be created by Sara Gilbert.

"I had been on this show as a guest before, and every time I came, I just really loved the experience of being here. I loved the audience interaction and how involved they are with the hosts. It's funny because from the minute I walked out here, it was like I felt like I'm at home," Natalie additional elaborated.

The newswoman added she hoped to additionally work in some capacity with the CBS News team.

A yr after Natalie joined the crowd at The Talk, it kind of feels her efforts to carve out a larger role for herself at CBS News paid off. She took on a task at the back of the scoop table and has been working regularly ever since.

Today, Natalie balances parenthood and a busy time table as a working mom — now not that it's simple. "If you are not spending every waking moment thinking about, worrying about or with your kids… you are feeling guilty," she instructed Today in 2014 about the two sons she stocks along with her husband Joe Rhodes.

Ultimately Natalie also mentioned, "There is no better job in the world than being a mom."
